About Michelle

For the past 10 years, I've been dedicated to helping elementary students thrive. I hold a college degree and believe in building confidence and fostering a love for learning, not just memorization. I actively listen and observe to understand each student's unique learning style, then adapt my teaching methods with visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems. Connecting challenging topics to real-world examples and celebrating small successes keeps my students motivated. Communication is key, so I provide regular updates to parents. Seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills is the most rewarding part of being a tutor. I am CPR and First Aid trained. I am willing to tutor at the student's home, teacher's home, library, or coffee shop. I look forward to discussing how I can help your child reach their full potential.
