About Liz

I am 26 years old, raised in Connecticut and graduated Ithaca College in 2021. I am currently located in Portland. While I have experience caring for children of all ages, I currently specialize in infants to young toddlers- I am a Lead Teacher at a daycare, working with 12-24-month-olds. I have completed Early Child Development Coursework for my current work, along with First Aid Training and CPR Training. I am also an artist and I try to incorporate art into my day with the kids as much as possible. I believe art gives them a sense of agency & power in their playtime. I also like to spend a lot of time outdoors: Activities like gardening, outdoor art, trips to the farm, or park walks, and sledding are times I look forward to. I'm comfortable caring for up to 4 children and happy to assist with cooking, light housekeeping, and travel. It would be my pleasure to work with your family. Right now I am looking for part time opportunities, but am open to full time for the right fit!

Liz is absolutely awesome! She is incredibly patient, caring, and kind with all of the children. She always makes sure they are engaged, entertained, and having the best time possible. Liz has a natural ability to connect with children and makes them feel comfortable, happy, and cared for. She is always willing to help out, and I know I can count on her to make sure everything is taken care of. She is responsible, dependable, and very trustworthy, which makes working with her such a great experience. I feel confident knowing that the children are in good hands when Liz is around. She puts so much effort into making sure the children are safe, happy, and enjoying their time.
