When we were looking for someone to watch our three kids over the summer, Emily was the perfect fit. While I was in class all day she made a daily schedule for the kids, it included art, and other creative things. She also let the kids put their own touch on the schedule too; take turns, my youngest wanted to play a board game, my daughter wanted nail time and my oldest just wanted to have some drawing lessons. Emily made sure to cut out individual time for each of them to make them feel special. Emily also loves to explore the community with the kids; going on fun trips to skate or beach or zoo. There is never a dull moment. I also want to stress how important mental health is to us and her as well. She made sure to always talk about feelings and help kids work through frustrations with patience and love. She's the best, we miss her dearly since she moved from Virginia Beach. We still keep in touch with her because Emily became such an important part of our little family.
