About Lisa

Unlocking a student's unique potential through personalized support is at the heart of my teaching philosophy. With five years of experience in elementary education, I specialize in fostering creativity and foundational skills in Art. I believe that open communication is the cornerstone of a successful partnership; by maintaining regular check-ins with parents and seeking constant feedback, I ensure my methods align perfectly with your child's needs. I keep students engaged by celebrating small successes and providing consistent positive reinforcement, especially when tackling challenging concepts. There is nothing more rewarding than witnessing a student's confidence soar as they master new skills. I am happy to travel to your home for sessions and am very comfortable around pets. I look forward to building a collaborative environment where your child feels empowered to reach their goals and enjoy the learning process.
