About Widny Achelein

Unlocking a student's unique potential through personalized support is the cornerstone of my teaching philosophy. With five years of experience, I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. I assess your child's learning style by actively listening to their needs and observing how they interact with new material. To keep students motivated, I connect challenging concepts to their personal interests and celebrate every small success. I hold a graduate degree and am fluent in English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish, allowing me to support students across a wide range of subjects including foreign languages, the arts, and special education. Open communication with families is essential to my process, as it ensures we remain aligned on goals. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a student masters a difficult skill. I look forward to helping your student thrive.
