About Lisa

I have been a Personal care provider for over 10 years. The seniors I have assisted have mostly lived independantly in their homes. I have assisted seniors with memory loss and have had the opportunity to truly observe a rebirth in their personal lives. The most rewarding part of caring for seniors is having the priviledge of helping them feel independent and empowered that they are still able to live independently with some additional help. I engage my senior friends in activities that they once enjoyed, just with a fresh twist that accommodates them where they are. Finding ways to engage them, through conversations, games, books, movies or if they are able, getting outside for walks and picnics. I am an avid lover of nature, I enjoy reading and challenging myself to learn new things. I have a dog that I love and have had her as a faithful companion for 12 years. I have references that I can share from my past clients families.
