About Erin

I'm Erin, owner of Golden Thread Companion. My caregiving experience began with caring for my sister, who has cerebral palsy. That experience shaped the patience, attentiveness, and respect I now bring to supporting seniors. I take time to learn each person's personality, routines, and preferences so I can anticipate their needs and personalize their care. Beyond everyday tasks, I look for ways to enrich their lives--whether that means helping someone use a tablet to connect with family, preparing a favorite meal, or helping them enjoy their interests. I provide companionship, assistance with showers and personal care, medication reminders and support with established medication routines, meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, and transportation. I'm CPR certified, and my goal is to help each person feel connected, valued, and supported while maintaining their dignity and independence.
