About Lindsey

Hi, I'm Lindsey! I am originally from Michigan, but have been in the Carolinas since 2013. I have a 9-month-old daughter, Lily & 2 (giant) lap dogs, Leland and Birdie. From a young age I was passionate about child development. When choosing my degree, I went back and forth between teaching & design, but ultimately chose to purse my passion for the arts. In college I worked at a daycare part time. Between 2010-13 I summer nannied for multiple families with children ranging from 8 months to 11 years old. In 2013 I moved to SC where I was the lead teacher for a Sunday school classroom for 18-24-month-olds while working full time in the apparel industry. Most recently, I was a textile designer, & although art is and always be a huge passion of mine, having a child has made me reevaluate how I want to give and spend my time. My approach to childcare is creative, friendly and flexible. I am comfortable with pets of all ages/sizes. I have been CPR certified, and plan to recertify.
