About Lindsey

I am an experienced tutor with a background in instructing, coaching and mentoring. I have worked various jobs tutoring kids of different backgrounds and ages as well as working as a sports coach. With 10 years of experience, I empower elementary through high school students to master English, science, history, and test preparation. I adapt each lesson for individual learning style and need. I keep lessons engaging by connecting complex concepts to your personal interests and celebrating every milestone. I believe clear communication with families is essential to building a collaborative environment where you feel supported. Witnessing that "aha!" moment as a concept finally clicks is the most rewarding part of my work. I hold a college degree and am currently pursuing my masters in exercise science and sports psychology. I am happy to meet at your home, the library, or a local coffee shop.
