About Joshua

For over 10 years, I've been helping students unlock their full potential through personalized support and customized teaching plans. I hold a graduate degree and believe that "understanding the why" behind a problem is key to lifelong learning. I assess individual learning styles then adapt my teaching with visual aids, hands-on activities, and open discussions. I like to connect challenging concepts to real-world examples and break down complex problems into manageable steps. I have CPR training and First Aid, have a car, and I am comfortable with pets. I hold a BS from USMA, an engineering Masters from CU Boulder (4. 0 gpa), and I'm completing in emergent nanomaterials. I was an instructor in BVSD for high school and developed the state-approved curriculum for construction trades. I specialize in tutoring neurodivergent students.
