I focus on building confidence and fostering a love for learning, not just memorization. I empower students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I actively listen to students, observe their interactions with new material, and vary my teaching strategies. I also celebrate small successes and break down complex problems into manageable steps. Open communication is essential for understanding student needs and setting clear expectations. It also builds trust and a collaborative environment. Seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills is the most rewarding aspect of being a tutor. I am also CPR and First Aid certified.
