As a college math instructor with a master's degree in Applied Math and four years of tutoring experience, I believe every student can achieve their goals with personalized support. I actively listen and observe to understand individual learning styles and adapt my teaching methods accordingly, using visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions. I keep students motivated by connecting challenging topics to their interests and celebrating successes. Open communication is essential to building trust and setting clear expectations. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I am comfortable tutoring at various locations and helping with various levels of Math, English, Test Preparation, Chinese , and Computers for students in middle school and above.
