About Liesl

Hi! My name is Liesl and I am a social work grad student looking to supplement my income. While I am new to professional senior care, I have been adjacent to it for years. My wife is a CNA who has worked for multiple assisted living facilities and I have also been assisting my family in caring for my three grandparents including my grandma who has severe dementia. My experience in these areas as well as my professional experience working with children and adults with disabilities has taught me that leading with patience and kindness are key. Specifically I find the ongoing discussion/negotiation around an elders autonomy vs safety to be both interesting and integral to quality care.
