About Leanne

Hello! I would love to help out with tutoring! I grew up the second oldest of 5 kids and regularly helped my younger siblings and their friends with their homework. While in college, I also worked as a tutor for a classmate earning their associates. I went to Portland Community College and earned my associates of art throughout my junior and senior year of high school while also earning high school credits. After graduating, I went to Concordia University, Portland with the goal of getting my degree in nursing. I finished all of the prerequisites for this and then decided to switch to a degree in social work. I graduated with an undergrad in social work in 2020 and have worked at a mental health crisis and suicide hotline answering calls since then. Recently I decided to take a break from this and am interested in exploring teaching and art therapy.
