About Lauren

I am a mother of three wonderful children, with over 15 years of professional childcare and education experience and a degree in Applied Developmental Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. I am a RYT500 vinyasa yoga teacher and lead community playgroups for young families in Central Vermont. I am certified in baby and toddler yoga, and teach creative movement to children of all ages. I believe in intentional and nurturing time with children- asking alot of questions and listening purposefully to their answers. I love reading picture books, classic literature, poetry, graphic novels, etc out loud to all ages (older kids still love to listen to stories!). As a runner and yogi, movement is a wonderful answer to me and I find that all children experience joy and calm when engaging in any kind of movement, especially outdoors. Hiking, backyard games, exploring forests, skipping rocks in streams are some of my favorite go-to exploits while caring for kids.
