About Lauren

Hello, I am a certified teacher in the state of Arizona. I graduated summa cum laude from Northern Arizona University with a bachelor's degree in K-8 Education, and was a finalist for Teacher of the Year after my first year teaching. I taught 4th grade for 4 years, but have experience working with children from ages 1-12. I just moved to Connecticut at the end of September, and am looking to continue working with children, as it is a true passion of mine. I have many years of care taking experience in various environments. During college I nannied for a few different families, I taught preschool in the 12-24 month classroom, and I also cared for developmentally disabled adults. Most recently, my experience is with 25+ children at a time in a classroom. I believe my teaching experience makes me a great fit for any family, especially those with elementary aged children. :)
