About Lara

I'm patient, creative, and truly enjoy working with children. I love reading, playing games, and finding fun ways to help kids learn and feel supported. I'm great with communication and always follow the parents' lead on rules and routines. I'm comfortable caring for up to two children at a time, have a valid driver's license, and am certified in CPR and first aid for children and adults. I have several years of experience caring for children in both classroom and home settings. I completed an internship as a teacher's assistant in a kindergarten class, and I've spent 2-3 years nannying for a family friend, caring for their child from age 2 to 5. I've also helped in my mom's early childhood classroom many times and volunteered with Operation Hope, serving meals to people in need.
