I'm a private-duty caregiver and Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) with 17 years of experience in private homes. I earned my CNA license in 2009 and spent over a decade providing in-home care through agencies for individuals ranging from infants to older adults before transitioning to working with private families in 2020. I continued my education by earning a Newborn Care Specialist certification to further develop my knowledge of early childhood care and development. I've cared for newborns, infants, toddlers, twins/multiples, school-aged children, and children with special needs. My experience includes long-term nanny care, temporary/transitional care, overnight newborn support, travel nannying, and family assistant roles. I bring a calm, nurturing presence and value continuity, communication, discretion, and genuine partnership with parents. I take initiative, anticipate needs, and help lighten the mental load while respecting each family's routines, preferences, and parenting style.
