About Mikaela

Hello! My name is Mikaela and I am a teacher who recently moved to New York. I graduated from UNCW where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Prior to moving to NYC, I was a 4th grade Math and Science teacher - of which, I absolutely loved! I have also taught gymnastics to children ages 2-14 and babysat at least twice a week on the side, watching children of all ages. I am completely comfortable feeding, bathing, reading, playing, putting to bed, etc. and have also babysat several times over-night. I love to be active with kids I babysit (not a TV watcher myself) by playing with them outside and inside, reading, checking homework, and having fun! I have (and continue to) babysit families of two, three, and four children- therefore I do not mind a certain number of kids. During the summers I usually continue teaching gymnastics and love to nanny!
