About Laura

While I do not have any official caregiver experience, I was always very close with my grandparents. They were a huge part of my life growing up. Whether it was going to the flea market on Saturday mornings, playing games or doing crossword puzzles I always loved spending time with them. I enjoyed hearing their stories of the lives they have lived. One of my grandmothers had Dementia/Alzheimer's. My family and I worked together to make sure she felt safe and comfortable in her environment. My mother had a stroke in 2011 and is now in a wheelchair and I have helped care for her over the years. I'd love to continue this relationship with other families and form that close connection.
