I am looking for part-time babysitting position (around 8-12 hours per week) for a family who will not only allow, but enjoy and prefer me bringing along my 2-year-old boy! Your child will get the benefits of social play along with individualized care. We have been babysitting the past few months and it has gone wonderfully. Unfortunately, the family we've been caring for is moving away, so I am looking for another position. I have lots of professional and personal experience working with children. Along with raising children of my own (ages 10 and 2), I have babysat, nannied, and worked at daycares and preschools, an instructional aide for the Webster Groves school district, and I am also a lactation consultant (IBCLC) who has worked with hundreds of babies and their parents. Communication with parents about what we did and how the day went is vital. I strive to include outdoor play if possible. Getting down to the children's level, I engaging with them, and being silly is a must!
