About Mariah

Hi! My name is Mariah and I am a college student at WashU currently blending my pediatric and psych expertise :). Regarding my experience, l have worked with many ages from newborn to 34 years old. I have babysat for six years and I have strong expertise in early childhood development from birth to toddlerhood as well as any home health positions/special-needs care. For my longer term clients, I've nanny-shared, worked with infant twins in two separate instances, provided overnight respite care, and many more special circumstances. I don't use "one-size-fits-all" and I tailor my approach for each and every family on an individual basis. I truly love being goofy, imaginative, and creative with the kiddos I work with and I often use child-led play techniques! I love to help with speech development/any delays, teaching new vocabulary, and repurposing toys. I truly believe the most pivotal factor in childcare is the gentle guidance that allows them to blossom into their selfhood.
