I have a doctorate degree in Special Education and Lesson Design and 18 years of teaching experience, I tailor my tutoring instruction to meet individual needs, especially for students with ADHD, autism, or reading challenges. I actively listen and observe students, using varied teaching strategies and collaborating with parents to understand their strengths and goals. I include a debrief each session for parents and family. My focus is on building confidence and reducing anxiety so students feel capable and motivated. I teach strategies and critical thinking skills that help students succeed on tests and beyond. Open communication is key, and I provide parent debriefs to ensure optimal outcomes.
