About Colby

Unlocking your unique academic potential is the primary focus of my tutoring practice. I empower students from elementary school through college by fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills that ensure long-term success. During our sessions, I assess your individual learning style by actively observing how you interact with new material and maintaining open communication about your preferences. When we encounter challenging concepts, I bridge the gap by connecting the subject matter to your personal interests or real-world examples. I prioritize clear, consistent communication with both students and parents to align our goals and track your progress effectively. My greatest joy is witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. I hold a college degree and have one year of experience helping students reach their goals. I am happy to meet you at the library to begin our journey toward your success.
