About Latrise

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With three years of experience, I specialize in Math, English, Science, Test Preparation, and Study Skills for elementary and middle school students. I believe that every learner thrives when provided with personalized support and a patient, engaging environment. By actively observing how you interact with new material, I tailor my methods--using visual aids, hands-on activities, or discussions--to suit your unique style. I break down complex challenges into manageable steps, celebrating every "aha!" moment as we build your confidence together. Clear communication with both you and your family remains my priority to ensure we meet your goals effectively. I hold CPR training and First Aid certifications. My greatest joy is watching your curiosity transform into mastery, and I look forward to supporting your academic journey.
