About Vernell

Empowering students to reach their full potential through personalized support is the cornerstone of my teaching practice. With three years of experience, I specialize in helping elementary and middle school students master Math, English, Science, and more. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my methods using visual aids, hands-on activities, and interactive discussions. When a concept feels overwhelming, I break it down into manageable steps to build momentum and confidence. I prioritize clear, consistent communication with both you and your student to ensure we stay aligned on goals. Whether we are preparing for tests or building essential study skills, I am dedicated to fostering a supportive environment where your child can thrive. I hold a college degree, and am happy to travel to your home to support your family's educational journey.
