About Latonja

Hi, I'm LaTonja! I'm a patient, encouraging, and dependable tutor who believes every child can learn when they have the right support and someone who believes in them. I enjoy helping students with reading, writing, math, homework, study skills, and building confidence. I understand that every child learns differently, so I meet students where they are and adjust my approach to their individual needs. I'm great at breaking challenging concepts into simple, easy-to-understand steps while creating a positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. My goal isn't just to help with homework--it's to help students understand what they're learning, become more independent, and feel proud of their progress. I bring patience, creativity, encouragement, and genuine care to every session.
