About Lexi

Hi! I'm Lexi, and I'm an elementary school teacher with three years of teaching experience, specializing in multilingual learner (MLL) education. My background involves explicitly teaching English language skills, including vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension, and written expression, giving me a strong foundation in supporting students as they develop their literacy skills. I hold an Early Literacy Endorsement on my Indiana teaching license and have completed professional training through Keys to Literacy. I have a strong understanding of foundational reading and writing development, including phonics, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, spelling, and written expression. I enjoy creating engaging, individualized lessons that meet students where they are, build their confidence, and help them make meaningful progress. Whether your child needs support with early reading skills, phonics, reading comprehension, or writing, I strive to make learning encouraging, effective, and fun!
