About Landyn

Hi there! My name is Landyn, and I am a Maine state-certified Elementary and Middle School Teacher. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in English and an MFA in Creative Writing, along with certification in teaching Writing to both High School and Undergraduate students. While my main focus is English Language Arts, I am certified to teach all subjects through 8th grade. I also have experience tutoring High School Algebra, Psychology, and Biology. I love inspiring and supporting students by helping them find strategies that lead to success. My goal is always to highlight their strengths-especially in areas where they may not feel as confident at school. I can assist with homework, test prep, and developing strong study skills. I also work with older students on admission essays for college and academic programs. Above all, I aim to help kids build confidence in tackling challenges while providing the support they need to do their very best.
