About Marie

Empowering students to reach their full potential is my passion. Open communication is essential, and I prioritize building trust with both students and parents. Seeing a student's confidence blossom is the most rewarding aspect of my work. I have tutored sick children in the hospital. I was a weekly volunteer in the classroom in Saco and Old Orchard. I helped students with whatever lessons they needed help with. I was a girl scout troop leader teaching science, nature, life skills arts and crafts. I attended UNE 25 years ago for Medical Biology with a minor in education. I am returning to school in the fall to add a bachelor's in Education and become a full time teacher. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I'd love to share my enthusiasm for learning and help you achieve your academic goals!
