About Sierra

Empowering students to reach their full potential is why I love tutoring. My path here is a little unconventional: I attended the Maine School of Science and Mathematics, studied communication and drama for my undergrad, and earned a graduate degree in digital marketing strategy from Trinity College Dublin. That mix means I can connect with students across a wide range of subjects and learning styles. I currently teach drama at a local children's art school and business subjects at the University of Maine, and I bring the same approach to every session, regardless of age: breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps and connecting them to the student's personal interests. Witnessing that "aha!" moment when a challenging concept finally clicks is the most rewarding part of my work. I look forward to partnering with you/your family on your journey toward academic success!
