I'm eager to help students unlock their full potential through personalized support. With a graduate degree and three years of experience, I tutor middle and high school students in subjects ranging from math and science to test preparation, art, dance, and history. I actively listen to students and observe their interactions with new material to adapt my teaching methods. I also vary my strategies using visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples and celebrate small successes to keep students motivated. Communication is essential; open dialogue allows me to adapt my approach for optimal outcomes. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I am CPR and First Aid certified, have a car, and am comfortable with pets. I am happy to tutor at a student's home, teacher's home, online, at a library, or at school.
