My name is Lakita. I am 34 years old. I was born and raised in Washington DC and I am the youngest sibling in my family. I have been teaching for 17 years and have been a nanny for 10 years. I've recently graduated from the University of the District of Columbia with an associate degree in early childhood education. Working with children as a passion of mines. It's a deeply rewarding feel, and I have had the pleasure of watching many children grow and go on to not only high school but college! The best part of working with children is building meaningful connections with them while supporting their development, academic and emotional growth. Ms. Kita is a wonderful sitter to our two boys. She is reliable, caring and always goes above and beyond. The first time she watched our boys our youngest has separation anxiety so she sent updates and pictures as a check in, without even asking. We’re grateful to have found her and highly recommend her.
