About Lai Jan

I am a certified PSS (Personal Support Specialist) Caregiver/Companion with 13 years of experience caring for seniors aged 70 to 100. I have extensive experience working with Dementia/Alzheimer's clients and in 2016 received the Excellence in Long-Term Care Award from the State of Maine. In facilities, I have worked one on one with clients in the Memory Care Unit, Assisted Living, and Independent Living. I also work with home care clients where I assist with cooking, bathing, medication reminders, doctor's appointments, home organization, running errands, and light housekeeping. I took care of a gentleman and his wife for 10 years including palliative and hospice care until the end of their lives. I am passionate about my job and it brings me great joy to bring a smile to my client's face. It is my goal to provide my clients with a better quality of life and to treat seniors with dignity and respect while bringing peace of mind to family members. I have references upon request.
