Hi there! My name is Tara. I've been professionally involved in the senior care/living industry for nearly 5 years, but my experience goes back much further. I grew up helping care for my grandparents, which sparked my passion for supporting older adults. While in college, I worked at as an Adult Day Program and recreation assistant gaining hands-on experience in group care settings. Since then, I've earned a B. S. in Marketing Communications and have continued to build on that foundation through roles in home care and assisted living marketing and sales. Currently, I work in sales at a senior living community. But am looking to take on hours. I'm committed to offering compassionate, respectful, and reliable care. I have previously provided companionship and light care services for individuals living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. Tara has been a wonderful caregiver to my husband, who has Alzheimer's Disease. She is understanding and educated about the disease and the best ways of communicating with someone who has cognitive impairment. She has worked for me for more than a year. She always goes above and beyond in her efforts to be helpful to both me and to my husband. She is reliable and extremely honest and trustworthy. I highly recommend her to care for others also.
