About Kinsey

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, driven, and dependable. I have 4 years experience caring for a child with severe cerebral palsy. Through this, I have experience using a hoyer lift, administering medicine, using a G-tube, keeping her mind active with various activities and taking her on outings, bathing, and changing clothes and briefs regularly. I also have experience where I currently work full time as Director of Activities at a senior care facility in Hillsboro, OR. I like caring for seniors because they have a lot to teach us, and in turn, they enjoy talking about their lives and experiences. Oftentimes, caregivers become stuck in routine and think of care as tasks to check off, but I live by "treat others how you want to be treated." So I do slow down and take a few minutes out of the day to actually try and make their day. They always appreciate the extra time and care. In my spare time, I like to read, study history, and explore Oregon and Washington.
