About Kendra

Hi! My name is Kendra, and I'm a school-based Speech Language Pathology Assistant with experience supporting elementary and middle school students. I enjoy working with kids in a calm, encouraging, and playful way, especially those who may feel shy, frustrated, or unsure of themselves academically. I offer early literacy support, phonological awareness, reading practice, homework help, language-rich activities, and school readiness skills. I use books, games, crafts, visuals, and hands-on activities to make learning engaging and low-stress. My style is patient, warm, and structured without being rigid. I adapt to each child's attention span, confidence, and communication needs. I believe kids learn best when they feel safe, successful, and encouraged. I'm especially interested in helping families with low-pressure summer learning to maintain skills and build confidence for the next school year.
