About Erin

For over 10 years, I've been dedicated to helping students of all ages and levels achieve their academic and athletic goals. In addition to having a college degree, I'm a lifelong learner who enjoys creating engaging, supportive and patient learning environments. I vary my teaching strategies to accommodate the learning styles of each student, applying IEP information, active listening and individual interests and passions to connect to the subject at hand. I use real-world examples, breaking down complex problems into manageable steps. I encouraging open and regular communication and feedback to continue tailoring how information is presented and explained to the student. Seeing a learner's confidence grow is the most personally rewarding aspect of tutoring. I can help with Math, English, Science, Foreign Languages, Sports (swimming, Pilates & conditioning), and adaptive learning/Special Education.
