About Dana

Empowering young learners to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. With three years of experience supporting elementary students, I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. I assess your child's unique needs through active listening and observation, tailoring my approach with visual aids, hands-on activities, and interactive discussions. I believe open communication with parents is essential to creating a collaborative environment for success. Whether we meet at your home, a library, or a community center, I prioritize patience and positive reinforcement to keep students motivated through challenging concepts. Seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills is the most rewarding part of my work. I hold a college degree and am comfortable working alongside your pets. I truly look forward to helping your child thrive and discover their own academic voice.
