About Kelsey

Hi! I'm Kelsey, a Spring 2024 psychology and human development graduate from the University of Alabama. I am currently on a new journey to become a pediatric nurse! My passion for nurturing has led me to many diverse experiences in childcare, including roles as a nanny, preschool teacher, and nursery caretaker. I've worked with children aged from 2 weeks to 16 years old and have a lot of knowledge on child development thanks to my degree and experiences. I have a deep love for children, animals, and giving back to my community through volunteering! In Spring 2023, I spent three months volunteering abroad in South Africa and worked daily with abused, impoverished children. I also have had the privilege of supporting intellectually disabled populations as an academic and social mentor, where I heavily assisted individuals with diverse disabilities. I'm currently living in Winston Salem while applying to nursing school. I'd love to contribute my skills and passion to your needs!
