About Keith

I'm applying for a part-time education position. Over the years, I have worked in many different teaching environments that have immensely helped me gain confidence. From working as a special needs counselor for three summers, a volunteer tutor at San Francisco State University, and as an in-home tutor for The Boston Learning Center, I've flourished where my patience and diligence has paid off. With a bachelor's and two master degrees in English and creative writing, I gathered fundamental skills as a writing instructor assisting students from elementary school to the collegiate level. I have experience that can be directly applied to future employment. I'm an incredibly patient person and I always want to make sure that whomever I'm tutoring completely understands. I might have to explain a concept 10 times before a student's face lights up because it finally makes sense. That's what I live for, and I can have the opportunity to see a student's educational development.
