About Keira

As someone who struggled with certain subjects while excelling in others in high school, I have been on both ends of giving and receiving help from others. Good tutoring is so important, because I've seen so many kids just give up on their grades when they don't feel supported. Good tutors need to give support while also helping them learn. In high school, I would help my classmates with certain assignments- specifically essays and literature, as those were my favorite subjects. Since then, I have helped out classmates in college in the same ways and I also have experience as a substitute teacher for all subjects. In my spare time, I like to read, watch lots of movies, play volleyball, and spend time with my family! My skills include patience and understanding in stressful moments, adaptability to different learning styles, and persistence to encourage your child to do their absolute best!
