About Jacklyn

Hello! I'm Jacklyn, an experienced tutor and academic coach with over 8 years of experience helping students strengthen their skills, build confidence, and become more independent learners. My background includes tutoring, curriculum development, and leadership development, and I am currently a graduate student in Environmental Engineering. I work with students across a wide range of ages and academic levels, with particular experience in STEM subjects, SAT/ACT/STAAR test preparation, homeschool and independent-learning support, academic coaching, and supporting students with ADHD, ADD, and other neurodivergent learning needs. Outside of academics, I enjoy playing chess, painting, and spending time with my animals. I'm an animal lover with five dogs and a cat of my own, and I have also spent time fostering dogs-which has taught me quite a bit about patience, consistency, and meeting everyone where they are!
