About Kaila

Hi! I'm Kaila, an experienced tutor with a strong background in English, writing, and general science. I hold an Associate of Arts in English and am currently completing an Associate of Science before transferring to Texas State University to pursue Psychology and Applied Sociology. I have experience supporting students with reading comprehension, writing, essays, study skills, and organization, as well as general science support at the elementary and middle school level. I previously worked as a college Teaching Assistant for Drama, where I helped students with coursework, presentations, and performance-based assignments. I'm patient, calm, and attentive, and I focus on helping students build confidence while strengthening their skills. I value clear communication, adaptability, and meeting students where they are academically. I'm especially comfortable working with students who need extra support with writing, comprehension, or structured learning.
