About Kaylee

Empowering young learners to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. With three years of experience, I specialize in supporting elementary students, including those in special education. I currently work full time as a para professional working with students in kindergarten- 2nd grade. I believe every child learns differently, so I actively listen and observe to tailor my approach--whether through visual aids, hands-on activities, or interactive discussions. By breaking complex problems into manageable steps and celebrating small wins, I help students build the confidence they need to succeed. I prioritize clear, consistent communication with families to ensure we are always working toward the same goals. For me, nothing compares to the joy of witnessing a student's "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. I am happy to meet at your home, a library, a coffee shop, or online to help your child discover a genuine love for learning.
