About Kayla

Hi! My name is Kayla, and I have over 8 years of experience working with children in a variety of settings. I graduated from Old Dominion University with a degree in Early Childhood Education, which has given me a strong understanding of child development and learning. I currently work in Early Intervention, supporting young children with developmental delays and disabilities. This experience has helped me become patient, adaptable, and attentive to each child's individual needs. I'm especially interested in working with children with disabilities, developmental delays, as well as children with no developmental concerns. I strive to create a calm, supportive, and engaging environment where children feel safe and understood. I'm reliable, easy to communicate with, and comfortable helping with daily routines and age-appropriate activities. I'm looking forward to finding a family where I can be a helpful and consistent support!
