About Katya

Hi! My name is Katya and I'm a sophomore. I'm majoring in Journalism and minoring in Cognitive Neuroscience and Wildlife Conservation. I'm a super social person and I love to do anything creative. I am home in Evanston for the summer and I have a car here at home and on campus during the school year. I have experience in driving kids to activities. I began working with kids when I was a gymnast on my high school team. Throughout the year we had a program called Junior Wildkits where I worked to help coach younger kids. This past year I worked for a summer camp specializing in kids with disabilities of all kinds, and while I wasn't a counselor, I was the photographer and would often help out the counselors in entertaining and interacting with the kids. In my free time, I'm very art involved and aspiring to be a photographer. My roommates and I love to craft and try out new DIYs or go on little adventures around town. I also love to play sports like soccer or watch fun movies.
