I'm a certified teacher passionate about helping students thrive. For five years, I've empowered learners to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills for long-term success. I actively listen and observe to adapt my teaching methods, using visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples, encouraging curiosity through interactive discussions. Communication builds trust, so I provide regular updates to keep parents informed and reinforce learning. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I hold a high school degree, Bachelor's degree, and Teaching Credential, am comfortable with pets, and am fluent in English and Sign Language (ASL). I can help with English, Test Preparation, Study Skills, and History for elementary, middle, and high school students. I'm available to tutor at your home, online, or at a coffee shop.
