About Edwina

I am a mother of two adult children and have been married to my high school love for 31 years. I previously taught first and second grade for 12 years at a private Christian school in IL. While there I developed a summer school curriculum for first through sixth grade students. After moving to New Mexico, I taught first grade for the Albuquerque Public School System. My husband received an opportunity to further his career with the Veteran's Hospital so we moved to California. I started homeschooling a student who couldn't attend school due to illness. Working with him was so fulfilling, I realized my passion for helping students succeed could be done outside the classroom as well. I am presently homeschooling kindergarten, third grade students and tutoring first through fifth grade. I have openings for a couple more students.
