I'm a certified teacher dedicated to building confidence and fostering a love for learning in my students. With one year of experience, I tutor elementary school students in math and English. I vary my teaching strategies using visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems. Open communication is key, so I encourage students to tell me what works best for them. Regular check-ins with parents also help me adapt my approach. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples and celebrate small successes. Seeing a student's confidence grow is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring. I am comfortable tutoring at a student's home, online, or at the library. I have a car and am comfortable around pets.
